Creating with people
At the heart of everything I do is people, whether that’s the communities I work with, the artists I support, or the audiences I engage.
As a producer, performer, and creative facilitator, my approach is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and bold creativity. I believe in making high-quality work that’s both accessible and meaningful, from large-scale community events to intimate performances and workshops. For me, creativity isn’t just about the final outcome, it’s about the people, the process, and the possibilities.
I believe that art should be inclusive, bold, and rooted in real stories, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, especially emerging artists and underrepresented voices. My work is particularly rooted in giving opportunities for underserved communities.
My Approach
COMMUNITY
I am super passionate about engaging communities in the arts and creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience the power of creativity. I’ve produced large scale spectacle events that fuse aerial arts, dance and theatre with genuine community collaboration and outreach, from pop up performances to festivals. My Projects are built on meaningful engagement developed through workshops, outreach and co-creation with schools, colleges and community groups. I’ve worked extensively with children and young people, helping them to find their voice through performance and participation through projects I have created. I have produced theatre shows both in London and in the North, working with communities that are underserved. Whether I’m delivering or producing bold immersive events, my aim is always to connect, uplift and celebrate communities through the arts.
MY WORK
THEATRE &
CABARET
I specialise in producing bold, high-energy cabaret work that champions creativity, confidence, and self-expression. I’ve designed and delivered cabaret courses that support performers at every stage of their journey — from first-timers exploring character and stage presence, to experienced artists refining their craft. Alongside this, I’ve produced vibrant cabaret shows that bring together diverse line-ups of emerging and established talent, creating inclusive spaces where performance, empowerment, and play collide. Whether it's teaching, directing, or curating full-scale productions, my approach is all about elevating voices, building confidence, and celebrating the full spectrum of cabaret performance.
PROGRAMMING
I lead on the curation and programming of all performance activities at Unseen Arts Grimsby C.I.C, overseeing everything from aerial arts courses (hoop, silks, and trapeze) to dance workshops, community outreach, and performance projects. If it’s performance-related, it lands with me. My focus is on creating inclusive, engaging programmes that offer genuine opportunities — especially for people who may never have had access to the arts before. At Unseen Arts, we exist to open doors, spark confidence, and bring exciting, high-quality creative experiences to our local community. I also produce programmes for emerging artists to upskill into creative careers.
